Photography tips
Making this page work for you
This gallery is the page that wins jobs, so it's worth doing properly. A few things that help:
- Shoot at the end of the day. Late afternoon light flatters exteriors and hides roof glare.
- Take a before photo of every job, even the ones you don't think will be interesting.
- Get the whole elevation in frame, then a few detail shots of trim, cabinetry, or stonework.
- Ask permission before publishing photos of a finished home, and never publish the street address.
- Resize before uploading. About 1600 pixels wide keeps the page fast.
